Bibliography

Books.jpg

Information for this project will need to be gathered from various sources, and this list comprises some of the published books and websites that I believe will be useful. The subject matter currently focuses on:

  • The history of male fashion

  • Biographies of the Astors

  • Lifestyles descriptions of the Gilded Age

It is my hope that this list will grow througout the project.

While this is more of an archival source, I also hope to identify online collections that might help the project, such as:
- NYPL for historic Maps of Manhattan
- Library of Congress for maps and photographs
